The Town of Canterbury is in the process of drafting an Affordable Housing Plan. In July of 2017, new legislation, known as PA (Public Act) 17-170 was passed in Connecticut requiring all Towns in Connecticut to adopt or amend an Affordable Housing Plan, with the deadline in June 2022. This survey is meant to gauge residents’ views of their current housing supply, attainability/affordability of the housing inventory, and opinions on future needs of the community.
