Engineers Australia is undertaking an evaluation of the scope for a major annual Engineers Australia National Convention.
Through its Colleges, National Committees, Technical Societies, Special Interest Groups and Divisions, Engineers Australia conducts some twenty major conferences and special events per annum. These attract some 4,500 participants, while generating a turnover in excess of $3m.
The review is to test the business case for adopting a major annual convention, which would group together a number of currently separate conference and special events, and incorporate additional activities in order to increase member value, promote Engineers Australia as a national institution, and generate revenue.
Your responses to the survey below will assist in the fact gathering phase of the review, and are appreciated. Commpletion of the survey should take you approximately 10 minutes. We are particularly keen to learn from your group’s experiences.
