The Richland School District formed a 30-member Community Facilities Task Force in April 2026, made up primarily of local residents, to help evaluate the district’s current and future facility needs.

Over six months, the Task Force reviewed enrollment trends, facility needs, district data and community feedback to develop a draft facilities plan. A local phone survey was conducted to gather additional community input and help refine the plan. The Task Force then presented its final recommendations to the School Board.

For the next step in the process, the School Board is seeking additional feedback from the community in the form of a districtwide, anonymous survey. Your feedback will help the district better understand the community’s priorities for Richland School District facilities and guide future planning and decisions.
