Help us plan bike tours that are convenient for you!

Since 2014, Gotham Bicycle Tours has offered a variety of overnight bicycle tours for private groups as well as "open enrollment" tours that people can sign up for as individuals and then ride with a larger group.

For 2020, we will be running the following tours as open enrollment:

We can only run these bike tours if we have a sufficient number of riders. So if you are interested in doing one of these tours, please fill out this survey and let us know when you are available.  If we have sufficient interest for a particular date(s) we will contact you to let you know and ask you if you are interested in registering.  So please make sure you give us your contact information at the end of this survey!

* 1. Montauk & Eastern Long Island Bike Tour.  This is a 2-day, 1-night bicycle tour that begins in Southampton and ends in Greenport on Long Island. Riders can choose the length of riding they do each day: between 16 and 60 miles. Highlights include Montauk Lighthouse, Shelter Island and beaches you can swim at each day.

To do this tour as "open enrollment" we have to operate it Saturday-Sunday and we have to run it as a camping tour. Camping is at a full-service modern beach-front campground. We can operate this tour with hotel stays or on non-weekend days for private groups only. The open enrollment price is $300 per person and includes two dinners and breakfast.

* 2. Beaches to Farms: A Winery Experience Bike Tour. This is a 2-day, 1-night bicycle tour that takes place in New Jersey. It begins at Sandy Hook National Seashore and ends in either Princeton or Somerville. You can select shorter or longer rides each day, ranging between 25 and 50 miles. We do an overnight campout at a working winery.

To do this tour as "open enrollment" we have to operate it Saturday-Sunday and we have to run it as a camping tour. We are able to also offer hotel stays at a nearby Hampton Inn, although staying at the hotel means missing out on group activities at the winery in the evening. The open enrollment price is $275 per person and includes dinner, breakfast and wine. Hotel stay is extra.

* 3. Hudson Valley Bike Tour. This is a 3-day, 2-night bicycle tour that begins in Wassaic, NY and ends in Poughkeepsie, NY. This ride features about 25 miles of riding on the first and third days (to allow time to visit attractions like waterfalls and wineries). The middle day is 50 miles.

To do this tour as "open enrollment" we have to operate it Saturday-Monday and we have to run it as a camping tour. Camping is at full-service modern campgrounds. If people do not want to camp, we are usually able to help them book rooms near where we camp each night, but we do not do the booking for you. The open enrollment price is $375 per person and includes 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Hotel stays are extra.

Question Title

* 4. P'Tit Train du Nord (Quebec). This is a 120-mile bike path in Quebec that we would run over 4 days. It would be approximately 30 miles of riding per day, which will allow each person plenty of time to enjoy various stops along the way.  Accommodations would be in hotels and there would be options to add a day tour of Montreal at either the beginning or end of the tour.  Riders could choose to drive to the ride start on their own, or they could fly or take the train to Montreal and have us transport their bikes for an extra fee. Rental bikes would also be available.

The exact cost of the tour would depend on the final number of riders who are participating.  If we are able to get 7 riders, that is the ideal number, and costs would be approximately $2800 per couple or $1600 per person traveling alone. The costs would include accommodations, shuttles to and from the bike path from Montreal as well as some meals. Not every meal is included since it allows for more flexibility for each rider.

We are only able to operate this tour during the months of July and August.

If you are interested in this tour please use the text box below to tell us what general time periods you are interested in.  Please keep in mind this is 4 days of riding, plus travel time.
