This is Section 1 - Characteristics of site.

This section records the characteristics of your site - where it is, what surrounds it, and how it is set up. These questions are important to put the pollination records in geographical context.

Please note: If you have done BOTH the beans and radish versions of this study, it would be really helpful if you could fill in this 'site' section for both seperately. This will help speed up the analysis quite dramatically, and pick up any changes in site circumstances anyone might have had between the harvests).

Question Title

Question Title

* 10. Number of SEEDS harvested from 'local' plant.

Question Title

* 11. Number of PODS harvested from 'bagged' plant.

If your plant died, please write 'DIED' in the week it happened. I just need to handle 'no pods' and 'no plant' differently in analysis.

Question Title

If your plant died, please write 'DIED' in the week it happened. I just need to handle 'no seeds' and 'no plant' differently in analysis.

Question Title

* 13. Number of PODS harvested from 'hand pollinated' plant.

If your plant died, please write 'DIED' in the week it happened. I just need to handle 'no pods' and 'no plant' differently in analysis.

Question Title

* 14. Number of SEEDS harvested from 'hand pollinated' plant.

If your plant died, please write 'DIED' in the week it happened. I just need to handle 'no seeds' and 'no plant' differently in analysis.

Question Title

* 15. Did you spot any insects visiting the flowers? If so, please list them here.

Don't worry if you can't identify them to species; "bumblebee" etc will be fine. This gives us an idea of what the pollinators might have been, and what insects participants have on their sites.

If you have recorded the number of spikes left behind from unpollinated flowers as well (from the email / blog post here: http://www.ljbees.org.uk/posts/Radishes_-_not_enough_plants__63__/), then I have set up a separate survey to collect that data here:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RSpike2015

Please fill it in if you can / are able to, as this will allow me to look at what percentage of flowers were successfully pollinated in your garden.

Question Title

* 16. That's it!
