Thank you for your interest in the MCAP Conference Scholarship. Applicants must complete questions 1-4 and any applicable questions related to the category for which you are applying. The application deadline is October 16, 2020.
The categories include:
1. Early Community Action Professional is open to any Region 3 community action agency staff with three years’ or fewer experience who has never attended a MCAP conference.
2. MCAP All-Star is open to any agency community action staff member serving on a peer group, holding a community action certification or sitting on a committee.
3. Community Collaborator is open to a board member of an agency. The Board member must represent the “low-income/target community” seat. Head Start Policy council members will qualify as well.
4. Community Partner is open to any Maryland county or state Department of Social Services or Human Services employee. The employee must provide a 100 word or less explanation of how the conference will enhance their current position
