2012-2013 Parent Volunteer Interest Survey
Families come together at Burgundy to form a strong, diverse community. In this parent-school partnership, everyone works together to enrich the lives of students and families. Volunteering is an integral part of building that community.
We are aware that everyone has different levels of availability and we are sensitive to working parents’ office hours. Because of that, we’ve noted activities that can be done off campus and/or during non-school hours. There are so many opportunities for parent involvement at Burgundy, no matter your schedule or skill.
Over and over, research tells us that children whose parents are involved at school have better grades, test scores, long-term academic achievement, attitudes, and behavior. Thank you for your investment in your children’s future. Please let us know your areas of interest in this survey and we’ll be in touch with you when opportunities arise.
