ASTCT SIG Travel Grant Application 2025 |

In order to allay prohibitive costs and grow ASTCT’s Affiliate membership, the Society is pleased to offer travel grants for members of the Nursing, APP, Social Work, and Pharmacy SIGs to the 2025 Tandem Meetings of ASTCT® and CIBMTR™, February 12-15 in Honolulu. This program will offer two travel grants of $1500 each to four select SIGs (Advanced Practice Professionals; Nursing; Social Work; and Pharmacy), reimbursable post-meeting, for the Meetings. If you are interested in being considered for one of these awards, please complete this application. Applications are due by 11:59pm Central Time on Friday, November 8, 2024 with notifications to follow approximately 21 days after the close of applications. Applications will be reviewed by the SIG Steering Committees.
Applicants with accepted abstracts (thus eligible for abstract travel grants) are not eligible for the SIG travel grants.

- Membership in ASTCT
- Member of any of these ASTCT Special Interest Groups: Advanced Practice Professionals; Nursing; Social Work; or Pharmacy SIGs
- Personal statement including the following items:
- Description of current employment status
- Statement of financial need that indicates no other financial support to attend the meeting
- Description of the applicant’s expected contributions to the Annual Meeting, and the anticipated benefits of attendance
- Current CV
- One letter of recommendation from a colleague or supervisor advocating for your attendance at the Meetings.
- Possession of the following SIG-specific criteria:
- Nursing
- Currently employed as a registered nurse working in blood or marrow transplantation (BMT) with a minimum of 75% devoted to direct patient care.
- For both grants, preference will be given to non-advanced practice (bedside) nurses.
- For one of the two grants, preference will be given to a nurse with less than 5 years of experience in BMT.
- Advanced Practice Professional
- PA-C, CNS, APN, or APRN
- Any licensure under the APP umbrella is eligible for consideration.
