The 2024 Individual Development Accounts (IDA)/IDA Tax Credit Administrator application will open on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Please read the following information carefully prior to submitting this application request.

IDA is an asset development program for low to moderate Indiana residents that helps in attaining financial self-sufficiency through financial education, case management, and matched savings incentives. To learn more about this program and its eligibility requirements, please visit the IDA partner website.

This application is only open to qualified non-profit community development organizations and community based organizations seeking to locally administer the IDA program to clients. It is not an application for individuals wanting to participate in the IDA program.

If you are a prospective participant wanting to sign up for your own IDA matched savings account, click here for more information as well as a current list of local IDA administrators to contact to sign up. For information on other available programs and services to assist individuals, such as downpayment assistance, energy assistance, rental assistance, the housing choice voucher program, etc., visit the main IHCDA website and click on the box for Homebuyers or Homeowners & Renters.

The IDA application can only be completed online, and the link will be emailed directly to applicants by SurveyMonkey at the email address submitted via this request form. All application requests must be made by completing this survey and will not be accepted via email.

You may request the application before it opens; however, you will not receive the emailed link until April 16. If the application is open and you do not receive the link within 48 hours (business days) of this request, please first check your spam folder and ensure you are able to receive emails from SurveyMonkey, then email the IDA inbox at the email address listed below if you still need assistance.

IHCDA will host an application webinar on April 16 at 1:30 PM Eastern via Microsoft Teams to provide a brief overview and answer any questions. If you would like to attend this webinar, click here to register.

The IDA application will close on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM Eastern, and no submissions will be accepted after that time.
