Question Title

* 1. If you are a student with an autism spectrum disorder age 18 or over, you are invited to participate in a survey on what you experience to be stressful or difficult in the college environment. It is hoped that your insights will assist college staff in preparing to appropriately support student needs.

Please read this form before acting on this invitation to be in the study.

Participation: This survey asks you to identify situations in which you may find difficult and/or stressful. You will also be asked for demographic information so that we can accurately describe the general traits of a group of people who may benefit from the intervention we aim to design.

Risks: Minimal to no risks or discomforts are anticipated from taking part in this study. However, it is possible that some may feel stress induced by the nature of the question or emotional distress from having to think of or "re-live" a difficult situation that was particularly traumatic.

Confidentiality: Your responses will be kept completely confidential. We will not know your IP address when you respond to the Internet survey. The results of the study will be kept in a password-protected database on a password-protected computer, will be used for scholarly purposes only with no personal identifiable information reported, and will be destroyed on May 1, 2014 after information has been analyzed and reported to appropriate audiences.

Voluntary: Your participation is voluntary; you are free to withdraw your participation from this study at any time. If you do not want to continue, you can simply leave this website. You also may choose to skip any questions that you do not wish to answer.

Agreement: By clicking the "Yes I agree" button, you acknowledge that you have read this information and agree to participate in this research.
