RNIB Parents and Carers Education Survey 2026

Purpose
At RNIB, our strategy is clear: to ensure everyone with sight loss can live the life they want to lead, without limits. As part of this, we aim to improve access and inclusion to education for children and young people with vision impairment.

This survey will help us build a picture of parents’ and carers’ views about the support their child receives in education and understand any changes over time.

Taking Part
Please spare a few moments to answer the following questions based on your experiences of the current school year [2025-2026]. Please note this survey is not applicable to those with children in higher education settings, i.e. University level study.

If you have more than one child with vision impairment, you are welcome to complete a separate survey for each child.

You can skip any questions you prefer not to answer, and your responses are confidential. A selection of customer comments will be used anonymously in our reporting. You can view the RNIB privacy policy here: www.rnib.org.uk/privacy-policy/

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact: cypf@rnib.org.uk
