The aim of the Building Soil Carbon project is to reverse the decline in soil carbon levels in irrigated soils in the Murray Valley.

This project will be completed over two stages:
  • Stage 1 involves evaluating the suitability of a range of pasture legume varieties.
  • Stage 2 will determine the most cost-effective way of ameliorating any soil constraints limiting pasture production
By completing this survey you will be contributing the direction of the project and help us get results relevant to the region.
