Georgia Charter Schools Conference

The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday September 22, 2017.

The Georgia Charter Schools Association is now ACCEPTING PRESENTATION PROPOSALS for the 2018 Charter Schools Conference. We’re looking for engaging presenters and sessions that will improve and develop capacity for all stakeholders in the charter school community including authorizers, advocates, school leaders, board members, founding boards, business managers, school administrators, and teachers.

This is your chance to share and discuss best practices, professional development strategies, and Georgia’s focus on quality charter schools leading to high student achievement.

Please Note: All sponsors, vendors and consultants will go through the same review process.

Important Dates and Deadlines:
1. Proposal submission: Ends Friday September 22, 2017.
2. Presenters notified: No later than Friday November 17, 2017.
3. Notification of time, and room assignment: No later than Wednesday January 24, 2018.
4. Georgia Charter Schools Conference: Opens Monday March 5, 2018.

* 2. Please provide an accurate description for use in printed programs and on the Conference web site. Responses are limited to 50 words or less.

* 4. To better assist our program committee during the selection process as well as help attendees at the conference make the best choice of sessions for them, please identify which audience your presentation will be addressing. (More than one choice is allowed)

Please describe the learning outcomes associated with your session. Describe what a typical attendee will know, understand and/or be able to do, as well as what specific skills will be introduced and practiced after attending your sessions. Specifically, what lessons will audience members be able to apply to their schools? 150 word limit.

Thank you for submitting your proposal for the annual Georgia Charter Schools Leadership Conference! We will begin the selection process for speakers in November, and chosen speakers will be notified by email in December.
