This fall, Bee Conversant will host a 3-part African American Women & Wealth series in September, October, and November. This series builds upon the Women & Wealth session held in Nashville at the inaugural Boule Economic Empowerment Summit in April. The event is co-hosted by a BEES partner, Morgan Stanley.
In July, Morgan Stanley held a listening session with Archousai, with these women's feedback helping tailor the topics included in this 3 part series.
Session One: The Great Mindset Shift (Thursday, September 14, 2023)
A session dedicated to unraveling the historical barriers that have hindered Black women’s access to wealth creation and investment opportunities. The session will aim to foster deep understandings of the challenges faced by Black women in the realm of investing and equip participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to overcome those obstacles.
Session Two: Investing: The Markets and other Asset Classes (Thursday, October 12, 2023)
In this session we delve into the world of investing and explore various asset classes available to African American women. Designed specifically to address the unique financial challenges and opportunities that black women encounter.
Session Three: It’s a Family Affair: Advanced Estate Planning (Thursday, November 9, 2023)
In this discussion, we will explore the unique challenges and opportunities that Black women face when it comes to building wealth and passing it on to future generations.
Each session will take place on a Thursday, at 7 pm CST / 8 pm EST and will last 60-75 minutes. There will be time allotted in each session for Q&A from attendees.
All registrants will receive a link to the webinar 48-72 hours in advance of each of the three virtual sessions. The data is only for registration and information dissemination purposes, and is not shared with any other party.
