The Canadian Association for Supported Employment is a national association of community-based service providers and stakeholders working towards the employment inclusion of persons with disabilities. We recognize that employment is a primary pathway to social inclusion, and are committed to addressing barriers and creating a more diverse, inclusive Canadian workforce.

Our vision is an inclusive Canada where all people experiencing disability have equal opportunity to secure and sustain meaningful employment.  We invite you to be part of a national team committed to providing the very best in supported employment services, and to increasing employment equity in Canada.

With funding generously provided by the Employment and Social Development Canada Sectoral Initiatives Program, CASE has created the Innovation Lab to collaborate with organizations across the country to identify, test, evaluate, and grow innovative solutions that address workforce challenges. The Innovation Lab will fund and support innovative approaches to connecting employers in priority and other sectors with skilled employees with disabilities.

For the 2022 - 2023 call for proposals, the CASE Innovation Lab is interested in projects that address the following goals:

· Enhanced employment participation in priority sectors
· Novel ideas that make use of technology to increase labour market participation
· New trends in employment supports
· Public education and awareness to encourage attitudinal change related to inclusion in the workplace
· Transitioning youth from high school into employment
· Strategies for reaching traditionally underserved populations (such as Northern, rural and minority language communities)
· Activities to arise the profile of supported employment services.

This Call for Proposals does not include funding for the following type of projects:
· Proposals that don’t follow the “guiding principles” and best practices in supported employment.
· Proposals that don’t show a clear vision of inclusion and diversity for people experiencing disability.
· Proposals that support long training programs for people experiencing disability rather than paid employment.
