Scholarships are available for up to $60 for one day conference attendance and up to $100 for full weekend conference attendance. Scholarships money is awarded upon completion of approximately 3-5 hours of volunteer time depending on your scholarship amount. There are volunteer activities that take place prior, during or after the conference. You will be notified of your specific task and volunteer time prior to the conference.

Decisions will be based on need and quality of the application.We always receive more applications than funds available and strongly consider the quality and effort put into responses.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a student, professor or staff at CU Denver or Metro State University- your conference registration fee is waived due to our sponsoring partnership of the conference with these institutions. Please contact CAEE at info@caee.org about processing your registration.

If applying as an organization, please fill out ONE online application for the whole organization (see specific questions for applying as an organization). If applying as an organization, the organization will be given one lump sum for the organization to distribute among your staff. To allow for scholarships to go to multiple organizations, we ask that you request no more than $60 for one day conference attendees and no more than $100 for full weekend conference attendees for each person part of your group. You will indicate the total amount you are requesting and for how many people it will be be for. We cannot guarantee that we can award the full amount you request.

Scholarship recipients will still need to register and pay for the conference by February 15 in order to finalize confirmation of your attendance and to receive the early bird discounted rates. Your scholarship award will be given to you in the form of a check at the conference after you have finished volunteering.

* 6. These are some examples of volunteer tasks during the conference. Some volunteer activities take place prior or after the conference. On-site shifts typically last between 1 and 3 hours in length. Some tasks will be ongoing and not have a set shift.
