Ngāti Tama Te Ipukarea 2026

With Te Ipukarea 2026 fast approaching, we're starting to plan our travel,
accommodation, and registrations. To help us with these arrangements, we would appreciate it if you could complete the questions below.

Event Details
Dates: Friday 20 November – Saturday 21 November 2026
Location: Lansdowne Park, Wairau (Blenheim)
Accommodation: Blenheim Bridges Holiday Park, please note this is first in first served basis.

While the final event timetable is still being confirmed, the current programme is
expected to include:

Friday 20 November:
10.30am: Pōhiri at Ōmaka Marae
Golf
Euchre
Basketball

Saturday 21 November:
Full day of sports
Haka Ngahau
Prizegiving
Handover of the mauri
Hākari

10.This year we have the opportunity to come together as Tokomaru Waka and perform a kapa haka bracket before prizegiving as part of the Haka Ngahau. Please note: We encourage all whānau to take part, regardless of your kapa haka experience. If you live outside the rohe, we will send out videos and resources to help you learn the waiata and prepare ahead of the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to stand together, represent Tokomaru, and celebrate our culture as one Waka.(Required.)
