Employees of West Virginia University Hospitals have recently had the opportunity to nominate three fellow employees for election to the Hospital Board of Directors in accordance with Chapter 18, Article 11C, of the West Virginia code.
Responsibilities and duties of the role include but are not limited to the following:

•Understanding and demonstrating a commitment to the corporation's mission
•Keeping up to date with issues and trend that affect the corporation
•Contributing skills and knowledge by participating actively in board meetings and committee work
•Ensuring the corporation is complying with all legal and regulatory requirements

Eligible employees now have the opportunity to cast one vote by following these steps:

1. Enter your Name and Badge Number.
2. Review candidate information 
3. Enter your candidate vote by making a selection from the drop down box. 
4. All votes received by 11:59 pm July 17, 2020 will be counted in the tabulation.

The employee receiving the highest number of votes will serve for a two-year term beginning August 1, 2020. The results will be announced on Connect July 24, 2020.
