Reading Buddies Volunteer Application Volunteer Intake Form:Reading Buddies is an opportunity for student volunteers to partner with children and share their love of reading. This partnership can help young readers enrich their language, literacy and social skills, and also discover the joy of reading.Volunteer requirements: A once-a-week commitment is a MUST for a total of 8 weeks Program starts week of October 18th Training will need to be completed between September 20th - October 17th; all training goes toward volunteer hours Must be between the ages of 14 and 18 Meet-ups will be once a week for a 30-minute session; you can do multiple sessions, should enough young readers participate Please be sure to fill out your availability below Library staff will coordinate days/times based on demand and availability of participant readers and volunteers.
