Thanks for stopping by & welcome.
A few brief questions (less than ten!) to assess interest in a Smart Work Hub for the upper mountains, run as an adjunct to Cyber_Shed, BANC's digital literacy project.

A Smart Work Hub would be a place to work remotely, complementing or even replacing your commute. And a place to work collaboratively with like-minded locals, otherwise isolated by geography or long commutes.

Smart Work Hubs are facilities which offer workers an alternative to either working in their normal place of work or working from home. The NSW Government is supporting the establishment and operation of a number of Smart Work Hubs in areas with large commuter populations. This includes Penrith, but as that’s still a long commute for Blackheathens, we think looking into starting our own makes sense!

We also hope to foster a community of workers interested in the synergy & collaborations that can happen from working with like-minded people. This space will be for those who’re either able to negotiate remote working, or are isolated solo-operators &/or home-based businesses that may benefit from the environment of a shared space for part of each working week.

Your opinions will help us in designing the ideal shared workplace. Please take a few moments to complete this short survey. You may comment anonymously or include your email address at the end of the survey to join our mailing list.

We appreciate your taking the time to share your views.

Thank you & warm regards,
