Cuttyhunk has one church building and for a long time that building is where services have been led by Episcopalians, Catholics and Methodists each summer Sunday. In 2014, a greater effort was made to extend a welcome to a wider range of worship traditions. The summer's evening worship was led by ministers from five different faiths as well as a lively gospel song-based service. While the Episcopalians and Catholic morning services will continue as always, the church council is deeply interested in your views of this approach to planning the evening service. Whether or not you attend services, your views of the role of the church on the island are important and we hope you will comment.
