Congratulations on your nomination for the Club of the Year Award.
This award will be given to the Club who has made a contribution to the growth of the sport in South Australia in a significant and identifiable manner; including the implementation of a Bowls SA initiative or program (for example, coordinating a successful Night Owls program, GetBowledOver program, hosting a Bowls SA event etc).
Other metrics, including but not limited to, are the demonstration of sound governance and business practices, community impact and club health check status which will be taken into account when determining this award. On-green performance and membership numbers may be taken into account, however will be of secondary importance when determining the winner.
The achievement or development of strategies in key areas including membership of the STARCLUB Club Development Program; Clubs SA; Good Sports Program; V-Star Volunteer Management Program through the Office for Recreation & Sport and have actioned a Business and/or Strategic Plan.
The Club is required to provide further information on the activities of the Club during the 12 months (1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018) in support of the nomination by completing this survey and submitting by no later than Friday 15 March 2019.
Bowls SA will then convene a panel to consider all nominees and determine the Clubs to be shortlisted as finalists.
Finalists will be invited to attend the Bowls SA Awards Night to be held at Morphettville Racecourse on Friday 24 May 2019.
