The PG Chamber is conducting a survey of businesses and employees to identify employment readiness issues being experienced by companies and their employees in Northern BC. Existing research has identified five competencies that define the skills needed for employment (workforce readiness). These competencies are the ability to efficiently use (a) resources, (b) interpersonal skills, (c) information, (d) systems, and (e) technology. The purpose of this survey is to identify current areas of concern for employers and employees in these five competencies and, working with high schools and post-secondary institutions in PG (UNBC and CNC) develop strategies for addressing these concerns.
To accomplish this task, we are asking you to take 5 to 10 minutes to answer the following questions.
