We are a team of researchers from the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), conducting a research project titled Kajian Komparatif Sistem Pelantikan Kehakiman. This study is undertaken in collaboration with the Legal Affairs Division, Prime Minister’s Department. The research examines Malaysia’s judicial appointment framework alongside selected jurisdictions to identify institutional strengths, areas for improvement, and potential reform considerations. This questionnaire seeks to gather your perspectives, level of understanding, and views on issues relating to the judicial appointment process, including transparency, governance, and public confidence.
Your responses will contribute to the empirical component of the study and inform policy-oriented analysis and recommendations. All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for academic and research purposes.
