Eastside Park December 2025 Virtual Open House (Dec 3 – 31, 2025)

The City of Buda is planning a new park, Eastside Park, on 29 acres of land located 1,900 feet west of FM 2001 at 1645 Hillside Terrace. After gathering input from the community, the Parks Commission, and City Council, two design concepts have been developed for Eastside Park. We invite you to review these concepts and share your feedback through our survey. Your input will help shape the future of this park. Thank you for your time and participation!

The following are two concepts developed for Eastside Park. The next set of questions will compare various elements of the park concepts. In each of the following questions, Concept A is on the left and Concept B is on the right.
4.Do you prefer concrete trails and sidewalks (grey color in Concept A) or compacted decomposed granite nature trails (brown color in Concept B)?(Required.)
5.Do you prefer the center of activities in the park to be closer to the neighborhood (Concept A) or farther away from the neighborhood (Concept B)(Required.)
6.Regarding active activities in the park, would you prefer a bike pump track or a 9-hole disc golf course? You may choose one option, both options, or none of the above.(Required.)
7.Regarding sports courts for tennis, basketball, and pickleball, do you prefer Concept A or B?(Required.)
8.Regarding the Community Center, do you prefer Concept A or B? Concept A has smaller building but an outdoor deck plaza. Concept B has a large building but no outdoor deck plaza. Deck plaza space could be utilized for outdoor community events and educational opportunities.(Required.)
