4.Our long term volunteer opportunities are broken down into 3 areas each of the opportunities offer both in person and virtual options:

Rapid Response: These volunteers focuses on engaging with community members and identifying issues that need to be elevated and addressed. Mobilizing volunteers to attend public meetings or spaces. This group also connects community members to JOE's network to offer support.

Storm Prep-Advocacy Action Team
These volunteers focus on creating preemptive plans for how to support neighborhoods post storm impact. This group will also create plans for support of other communities when their community is not impacted.

Events and Organizing:
These volunteers help to produce town halls, press conferences and large scale events that highlight JOE's impact in the community.

Education:
These volunteers will help create and review educational materials for
Adults ( 24+)
- Legislative one pagers
- White papers
- Social media content
- Letter writing templates

Youth ( 12-23)
- Teach them babies civic education program - this program is a hybrid experience volunteers in Florida can help facilitate program opportunities in person. Volunteers outside of Florida will help facilitate programs online with Staff.
