The AREA Security Maturity Model: Self-Assessment

Given the importance of Augmented Reality to business and the digital transformation of business, security is an important consideration. The Security Maturity Model (SMM) helps organize and manage these concerns, enabling various stakeholders to communicate and determine appropriate maturity targets, assess the current status and create action plans to address gaps.

The AREA SMM aims to help you understand the current state of AR security within your organization, identify challenges, and gather insights into best practices.

Based on your responses, we will provide recommendations to help your organization enhance its AR security maturity. Your input is invaluable in shaping effective strategies for safeguarding AR applications and devices. The self-assessment should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential and used solely for recommendation purposes. The Recommendations will be shared with you / your organisation.

There are five comprehensiveness levels for every profile, from Level 0 to Level 4, with larger numbers indicating a higher degree of comprehensiveness / maturity of security controls. Every comprehensiveness level covers all the requirements set by the lower levels. Comprehensiveness captures the degree of depth, consistency and assurance of security measures that support security maturity profiles, or practices.
