Social Impact Assessment

All Things Social Impact Pty Ltd has been engaged by Powerlink Queensland to undertake a social impact assessment (SIA) of the Bungaban Connection Project. All Things Social Impact are delivering the SIA in partnership with OCHRE Social Performance, leveraging our collective experience of the Windlab Bungaban Wind Farm and knowledge of the region to maximise community participation and minimise duplication.
The Project
The Bungaban Windfarm Connection Project is a 70km-long 275kV double circuit transmission line connecting the proposed Bungaban Wind Farm into Powerlink’s existing Wandoan South Substation. A final corridor for this transmission line has been identified, as shown in this map.

About this survey

  • opportunities to enhance benefits and manage risks

Your responses will help inform project planning, mitigation measures, and community benefit initiatives.
