Eligibility
RJO retail owners, vendor owners and their employees may apply for RJO Foundation Scholarships. An applicant must:

- be at least 18 years old
- have at least one year’s experience working at a RJO member store/company or a request for consideration by store owner
- course must be completed while an employee of RJO member store/company
- the RJO member or vendor account must be in good standing
Considerations and Terms in Awarding Scholarships
RJO Foundation Scholarships are awarded to RJO members, vendors and/or their employees to be used toward professional growth. Funds for the scholarship are provided by the RJO Foundation through direct member donations, our generous sponsors and group fundraising efforts. Considerations and terms include:

Funds for the scholarship are provided by the RJO Foundation through direct member donations, our generous sponsors and group fundraising efforts. Considerations and terms include:
- Each qualifying RJO member may submit one (1) scholarship application during each application process. However, scholarship funds may only be awarded one time in a twelve-month period.
- All applications will be reviewed by the RJO Foundation Board of Directors, which includes RJO member representatives from around the country.
- Scholarship monies are offered in increments set forth by the Foundation Board of Directors and may vary pending educational course choice.
- Following verification and receipt of proof of payment for enrollment and/or materials purchased, scholarship monies will be distributed directly to the member who has been awarded the scholarship. Half of the scholarship monies will be awarded at proof of enrollment, the other half upon proof of completion.
- Applicant must fully complete the Scholarship Application form as well as the Short Answer Essay questions.
- One (1) Letter of Recommendation is required.
- The decisions of the RJO Foundation Board are final.
Cancellation of Scholarship
The RJO Foundation may cancel a scholarship if the recipient fails to:

- provide receipt of proof of payment
- complete the course within the specified completion time
- employee leaves position in RJO member store
- falsification of application and/or supporting documents
