Rainier Beach

In the Spring of 2011 the City of Seattle's Department of Planning and Development began the process of updating the Rainier Beach neighborhood plan. On October 27, City neighborhood planning staff presented proposed objecttives and strategies to the community for review and comment. The proposed objectives and strategies are the outcome of many meetings with community members and will be refined into the neighborhood plan update intended to help Rainier Beach to better link people, organizations, public institutions and places and find single actions that address multiple issues.
