1. Introduction

Industry-wide survey "IT Governance in Retail Supply Chains" is part of a research initiated in MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.

The aim of this survey is to rigorously investigate the link between the decision making schemes about IT in the retail supply chains, as an enabling capability, with supply chain performance. Specifically, the research aims to gain deeper insights on under what circumstances the use of IT in will lead to better supply chain performance.

We will be focusing on your knowledge and experience regarding (supply chain/IT) and learning what could make the current system easier and more effective. For the purposes of this survey, we roughly define IT Governance as processes and structures for making IT decisions with the objective of lowering the risk and insure alignment between strategy and IT investments. We also use the term SCM applications for referring to software used for forecasting, network design, inventory management and other SCM related tasks.

This survey will take around 10 minutes of your time. We already appreciate your intention to participate in our survey. If you leave your email or contact info. (We encourage you to do so), we can register your profile for receiving a copy of the book "Resilient Enterprise" By Dr. Yossi Sheffi of MIT as the prize.
