Self-Isolation Centre (SIC) - Volenteer Hotels

Dear Members,

There is likely an imminent need for isolation units which initially would be managed by the hotel and may become managed by the Department of health at a later stage. To date we have had many hotels approach us and we appreciate the gesture. At this stage this remains a gathering process to understand which hotels would offer SIC (Self Isolation Centre) beds, how many beds and where they are located. Once we have this information, we would pass this on to provincial and national departments who would advise how best to proceed.
