The Young Professional of the Year award celebrates outstanding individuals who demonstrate leadership, professional growth, and a commitment to making Sarasota a better place to live and work.

Nominations close on Friday, April 17, 2026 – don’t miss the chance to shine a light on someone deserving! Self-nominations are welcome. Nominees must be able to attend the summit on May 28th.

What’s next? Once a nomination is submitted, the nominee will receive an application to complete as the next step in the selection process.

GUIDELINES:

1. Nominations can be made by employers and peers. Self-nominations are also accepted.

2. Nominees must be under 40 at time of nomination, and live or work within Sarasota County.

3. All eligible nominations will be reviewed by a panel of community leaders to determine the finalists and winner.

4. Finalists MUST be available to attend the 2026 YP Summit on May 28th.

5. Nominees must be an active member of the Sarasota Young Professionals Group and work for a Chamber member organization.
