YPC Board Member Application
Young Professionals Council Overview:
The Young Professionals Council (YPC), a Council of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, connects ambitious, visionary young people with a strong, diverse network of peers, mentors, and regional business and civic leaders.
Young Professionals Council Mission:
To foster ambition and build community among young professionals who are paving the way for Greater Philadelphia’s future success and growth.
About the board:
The YPC Advisory Board is a non-governing body that helps set overall strategic direction, generate resources, and champion the YPC mission in the community. The YPC Advisory Board membership ranges from 10–25 members, representing the key constituencies served by the organization. The board meets bi-monthly between July and June.
Board members are expected to participate regularly in YPC programs and events. All members of the YPC Advisory Board serve as champions for the vision and mission of YPC and help to advance an accurate image and positive reputation for YPC. Board members serve a three year term, with the option to renew for another 3 year term.
Eligibility:
– Prospective board members must be a current YPC member.
– Prospective board members must be employed by a Chamber member company
