FGSSC Program Coordinators
The Program Coordinator works with the First-Generation Center to develop programs with the first-generation coaching team to support the center's student participants navigate both their academic and social life at Salem State University.
Applicants to the Program Coordinator position must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior. You will represent the RISE Program and university in a positive manner while working in the First-Generation Student Success Center (FGSSC). Program Coordinators will assist in managing the FGSSC, including providing guidance to students seeking assistance in the First-Generation Center, and providing guidance and support to Office Assistants in their tasks. Coordinators will also provide support for a variety of projects dedicated to first-generation learners, including advertising events, scheduling appointments, and other administrative duties as required.
Interviews will be on a rolling process until the positions are filled. You will be contacted to set up an individual interview.
