Introduction
The Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism is the national professional organization for academic and community-based endocrinologists and researchers. The mission of CSEM is to support members in their practice and advance excellence in endocrine and metabolic patient care through education, research, and advocacy.
The Research and Innovation Committee was established as part of the CSEM strategic plan to advance innovation and research in endocrinology and metabolism in Canada. The goals of the Research and Innovation Committee are to promote research of Canadian endocrinologists, foster communication between Canadian scientists, both basic and clinical, and to encourage collaborative research endeavours.
In an effort to achieve these goals we are undertaking this survey of researchers across Canada in the endocrine-metabolic space to help us understand how CSEM can best serve its members and advance research and innovation across the country.
