Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter has filed H4374, the Take Pride in Where You Live Act. The bill calls for greater collaboration among the Department of Corrections, the Department of Transportation, Palmetto Pride, and local correctional facilities to eliminate litter for the benefit of quality of life and economic development statewide.
Rep. Cobb-Hunter has asked SC cities and towns to identify up to ten litter hotspots within their municipal limits using mile markers, highway numbers, street signs, landmarks, intersections or other information that would clearly identify the location.
