The Democratizing Development Program is striving to be a clearinghouse for practical solutions on the intersections of equitable development, housing, economy, and equity that leads to community power building. Please share with us three (or more) reports, tools, or resources that your institution has been involved with in 2016 that could be helpful for other funders.

In the spring of 2017, we have tentative plans to do a Learning Tour in Pittsburgh, PA, with the Heinz Endowments Foundation, City of Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh United—a coalition of community, labor, faith, and environmental organizations committed to advancing the vision of a community and economy that works for all people. The focus of the tour would be on strategic community and government approaches to economic inclusivity, equitable development, housing equity, and performance metrics and measures to improve the decision-making process for public resources. We will be sharing additional information about the learning tour by the end of the year.
