PURPOSE: WQRF is conducting an initial exploratory survey to gather a general understanding of 1) range and type of water quality testing methods, and 2) quantity and type of stored water quality data. This is a one-time survey to obtain information, but WQRF offers no assurances that the survey results will be acted upon and provides no promises as to what steps, if any, will be taken by WQRF based upon or following its review of the survey results.
GOAL: To aid academic, regulatory, and consumer-driven education needs, WQRF is seeking to advance its map of contaminant occurrence in water containing the most comprehensive and up-to-date compilation of US drinking water quality data. The advancement will seek to take regional viewing down to a “local” and simplified consumer accessible experience.
REQUEST: To kick off WQRF’s investigation, your insights are invaluable in understanding if the drinking water sample data you collect and store on a regular basis could help advance the WQRF mission. Please set aside 10-15 minutes to take this survey.
CONFIDENTIALITY: Upon completion of the survey, individual survey results will be held in confidence and only made available to a limited number of WQRF staff, and if deemed necessary, the consolidated assessment results may be shared with WQRF Board members that have attested to confidentiality and have declared being free of conflicts of interest specific to this matter.
Thank you in advance for your consideration for sharing your expertise and experience!
