The Town of Roachdale is applying for a stormwater grant in the amount of $750,000 to make improvements to the town's stormwater system. Your input will assist us in our grant application.
NOTE: Stormwater means rainwater.
1.Do you know that the town is having issues with its stormwater utility system?
2.Do you notice stormwater (rainwater) ponding in residents’ yards after a rain event?
3.Have you ever seen stormwater (rainwater) on or crossing the road in town?
4.How often does water pond in the road?
5.Have you driven your car through stormwater (rainwater) on the road?
6.Have you ever had to take an alternate route due to the stormwater (rainwater) on the road?
7.Have you ever been forced to stay home due to stormwater (rainwater) being too high to drive through?
8.Do you support the town's efforts to address stormwater issues with this project?
9.Do you support the town's $750,000 grant application for funding for this project from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs?
10.Have you attended a town council meeting or other public meeting in the past five years where stormwater (rainwater) issues have been mentioned?
11.Has stormwater (rainwater) issues damaged any of your property or is there anything else you think the funding agency should know?
