8 Week F2F Course Registration

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session education program for family, friends and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem solving, treatment and recovery.

The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being. The program is taught by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition. NAMI Family-to-Family is an evidence-based program (EB). The course is suitable for spouses, partners, siblings, parents, significant others,

teenage and adult children and friends who are family caregivers of people who have
been diagnosed with or are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition, such
as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality
disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring brain and addictive disorders.
Youth, ages 14 or older are permitted provided they are attending as a participant and
are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

REMINDER:  This is an 8 week course and will be held virtually using the Zoom application.  High-speed internet is required.  This course is expected to start on October 8, 2020 and held Thursdays from 6:30PM-8:30PM.  Start date may be pushed back one week, to allow time for registration.
