Rural Community Survey

.What city or county do you represent?
.Who is your employer and what is your job title/role?
.Does your city or county have an energy plan or address energy in planning documents?  If so, what plan addresses energy, is the plan publicly available, and where can we access it?
.An energy audit identifies opportunities to reduce energy consumption in public facilities and save taxpayer dollars overall. Has your city or county completed an energy audit of public facilities? If so, when?
.Does your city or county know your major energy burdens? (i.e. major energy consumers. for example: public facilities, lighting, etc.)
.What are your city or county's major barriers to enhancing your energy planning?
.Would your city or county be interested in receiving assistance from the state to develop an energy plan that would identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption in public facilities and save taxpayer dollars?
.Please share any additional comments.
.The Office of Energy and Mineral Resources is looking to expand and enhance current programs, or develop new programs, that assist rural communities in identifying opportunities to reduce energy costs and save taxpayer dollars.
