Thank you for your interest in the Affirming Diabetes Prevention for LGBTQIA+ People Learning Collaborative.

The Diabetes Prevention Learning Collaborative is designed to help health centers improve their capacity to provide culturally affirming diabetes prevention programs for LGBTQIA+ patients, including considerations for the experiences of individuals with body dysmorphia or body dysphoria. Health center participants will share effective models and tools that may also incorporate strategies for increasing body positivity in patients, and plan for the implementation of these programs.

Participation will take place through a video conference link.
Health Center attendees will participate in 4 sessions on May 5th, May 19th, June 2nd, and June 16th from 12-1:30pm (EST), 11am-12:30 (CST), 9am-10:30am (PST).

To participate in the Behavioral Health Integration Learning Collaborative you must:
  • Participate actively in the 4 sessions.
  • Be a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or look-alike.
