2018 Advisor Application - Slatt Fellowship for Undergraduate Research in Energy

The Vincent P. Slatt Endowment for Undergraduate Research in Energy Systems and Processes provides support to undergraduate students interested in conducting energy-related research at Notre Dame. Projects must be focused on creating better energy systems and devices or strengthening America's energy future through the development of policies and infrastructure to support new technologies.

Awards are up to $5,000 per student. Funds may be used for the student's stipend, laboratory supplies, and travel for the student to present his/her research at a national conference or meeting.

- Notifications made by March 15.
- Funding available May 1.

Faculty advisors of interested undergraduate students must complete the following application in order for his/her undergraduate student to be nominated and considered for a 2018 Slatt Fellowship.

Please indicate the amount you are requesting for your undergraduate student. As you complete this request, please consider the length of time your student will be working on his/her research project, the appropriate hourly rate - $8.08 (basic) $8.49 (intermediate) $8.90 (skilled), the fringe benefit rate for undergraduate students of 1.4%, laboratory supplies, and travel for your student to present his/her research. The total amount should not exceed $5,000.
