* 1. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) requires special diposal. HHW includes items such as batteries, florescent light bulbs, 1 lb. propane cylinders, fire extinguishers, cleaning products, paint, and electronic waste.

Are you aware of safe disposal options for household hazardous waste (HHW) in your area?

Yes

Residents of Laguna Beach are entitled to four (4) free HHW pickups per year, with one (1) collection per quarter. To schedule a HHW pickup, please contact Laguna Beach’s dedicated Customer Service at (949) 662-3819.

Orange County residents can dispose of their household hazardous waste for free at any of the County's four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers listed below:

Like other household hazardous waste (HHW), residents of Laguna Beach can dispose of their lithium-ion batteries through Laguna Beach's free HHW pickups, and at any of Orange County's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers.
