October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Cobb EMC and Northside Hospital are teaming up to spread awareness, and encourage everyone to take the pledge to make their appointment. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime and 85% will not have a family history of the disease. Early detection is the key for all cancers.
