1.If you are currently composting, what method do you use?
2.In a typical week, how much food waste do you have? (Raw or unused vegetables/meat, coffee grounds, egg shells, etc). Estimate how much in plastic checkout grocery bags.
3.Do you tend to have more, less, or the same amount of meat food waste than vegetable food waste?
4.How much uncolored, non glossy cardboard or paper (shipping packaging, egg cartons, etc) do you have available on an average month? Estimate how much in pounds
5.If you have a yard, how much dead leaves do you tend to have during the heaviest of months? Describe the number and size of bags you fill
6.Are you willing to keep grass/leaves out in the open for a month or more in your yard?
7.If you have a yard/balcony/porch, how much sunlight do you have in the sunniest available spot (6-8 ft long by 5-7 ft wide of space)?
8.How much daily time are you, or fellow house members, able to dedicate to composting (breaking down boxes, chopping veggies, breaking branches, monitoring, etc)
9.How close is a power outlet to the nearest available space in your yard/balcony/porch?
10.What is one thing you feel would make your food waste collection process simpler?
