2025-2026 NASW-MN Call for Presenters
NASW-MN is seeking presenters!
Come present for us! Are you looking to share your practice, wisdom, and ideas with a diverse audience? Expand your experience by providing a presentation at an upcoming NASW-MN event! We are seeking presentation content that informs any stage of practice - from engagement to termination; any facet of practice - micro, mezzo and macro; in any setting and with any population(s). Our attendees are mostly Masters-level and/or seasoned practitioners; therefore, we seek proposals that provide advanced knowledge or skill-building, and not so much introductory level.
**Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
NASW-MN Workshops and Webinars
We hold a number of training and educational events throughout the year and all across Minnesota. Our events include our annual Winter Virtual Conference (see below), monthly workshops, and monthly Lunch n Learns. Our workshops range from 1-4 hours (possibly more, depending on content). Our monthly Lunch n Learns are usually 1 hour in length, and on the first Wednesday of the Month.
2026 Winter Virtual Conference: Winter's Brightest Ideas Our Winter Virtual Conference is an opportunity for social workers in all practice areas to get up to speed on the creative and cutting-edge ideas our practitioners and academics are exploring in research, pilot programs, new interventions, complex systems, diverse experiences, and more. If you have new data, insights, ideas, or recommendations to share, please submit a proposal.
Winter Virtual Conference Format Our annual Winter Virtual Conference is held online via Zoom on three consecutive Fridays in February. Dates are 2/6/26, 2/13/26 and 2/20/26. All sessions will be recorded for conference registrants to view for a time-limited period following the conference.
Conference Content Content should focus on one (or more) of these areas:
Beyond Bright: Content is outside-the-box, may or may not align with multiple content areas below, and challenges the audience to think, practice, and engage beyond the standard ways of doing so. Includes exploration of ideas that are creative, unusual, and not bound by tradition, rules, or conventional ways of knowing.
Cutting-Edge: New data, insights, or ideas from practice or research.
Advanced Clinical: New and exciting content focused on practice at the organizational, community and systems levels. Presentations can include topics such as policy advocacy, organizational and social change, or the impact of sociopolitical factors on the client experience.
Macro Practice, Policy & Leadership: New and exciting content focused on practice at the organizational, community and systems levels. Presentations can include topics such as policy advocacy, organizational and social change, or the impact of sociopolitical factors on the client experience.
