Queensland Ecologies, Sunshine Coast
(Dec 2026 - Jun 2027)

Please note - the main applicant must located in the Sunshine Coast Council LGA.

Building on the success of SCCA’s Think Big 2032 artist residency, Queensland Ecologies, Sunshine Coast responds to the need for large-scale engaging artistic projects in readiness for Brisbane 2032.

Two residencies are available for mid-career and senior interdisciplinary creatives based on the Sunshine Coast working in collaboration with other regional Queensland practitioners. The residencies aim to stimulate the development of collaborative, engaging, place-engaged projects exploring ecologies supported by technology.

Viability: The application demonstrates a clear process for delivering the project and an understanding of how they can use the resources available through the residency to evolve
