Introduction/Registration

Region 8 Assisted Living Facility (ALF) providers are invited to attend the annual DADS Provider Meeting for Assisted Living Facilities presented by the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, Regulatory Services Division, Region 8 staff. The provider meeting is an opportunity once a year to meet with regulatory staff in your region, to get information on timely topics, and ask questions.

The following topics will be presented:


     ·   Infection Control Overview of CDC and Regional Updates
                       
presented by Gretchen Rodriguez, MPH, CIC, HAI Epidemiologist

     ·   Aging Services Coordination (ASC) Programs and Initiatives
                           
presented by ASC Program Staff-Austin


     ·   Question/Answer Session

Seating is available for up to 80; registration is on a first-come/first-served basis. We have also given you the opportunity during registration to provide us with questions which will be answered during the presentations.  Please submit your questions by the deadline for on-line registration, August 21, 2017 to allow adequate time for review.

Up to two (2) providers from each facility may attend.
